GO FloodSmart Flood Pillow

GO FloodSmart Flood Pillow

Overview

The GO Industrial FloodSmart Flood Pillows give the opportunity for businesses and homeowners to be prepared and ready to respond quickly and easily in a flood emergency. Flood preparation and flood response has always traditionally revolved around the use of sandbags to protect properties from water damage. Sandbagging is an incredibly labour intensive process. Even sourcing and transporting the sand in a crisis to then manually fill the bags is an arduous process.

The FloodSmart Flood Pillow performs like a sandbag or similar products, without the sand. Made from a sturdy Geotextile fabric, the Flood Pillow contains a highly absorbent polymer that activates when exposed to freshwater. When fully activated they may be stacked as you would sandbags to create a highly effective barrier to block or divert nuisance water. Alternatively, they may be used to absorb water from roof leaks, leaking appliances such as washing machines, freezers and dishwashers and in many other circumstances where water is seeping or getting away.
